Star’s Baby Bump | Charlotte, North Carolina Maternity Photographer

When I first met Star, she told me that her husband had a bit of a green thumb and grew up in the country, and then sent me on my way with tomatoes and cucumber. Mmmmm.

I don’t know what I was expecting, but when I pulled up to their home, and he greeted me at the car, what I was NOT expecting was his country twang.  It was different than what I would imagine, but quite refreshing for 8am on a humid Sunday morning.  It’s nice to meet my clients ahead of time because when I come back for the session it is like I am their to hang out with old friends, and hey, while I am there, take a picture or two, or a hundred in my case. :) And this time it was exactly that.

They quickly caught on to me as I said, “Oh this is my favorite” after EVERY image. I wasn’t lying…in my book you don’t have to have just one favorite:  You can have many favorites; different in their own way.

I had so much fun with these two.  A barrel of laughs and good times. Good times.

Surprise Bump Baby E | Charlotte, North Carolina Maternity Photographer

I am very excited about all of my recent expectant mommas.  One of them is due anytime now, and get this: FOUR of them are all due within FOUR days of each other.  Let’s say that I will have my work cut out for me when all these babies get here!   Bring it on- I can’t wait.  One of those four is Sarah and her little mystery bump.  She thinks Baby E is a boy, but no one except her doctor really knows whether that precious being inside is of the pink or blue persuasion.

We planned our portrait taking rendevous for as early as we could possibly manage, to steer clear of the heat and harsh sun.  So I set my alarm for 5:45 and met up with her and hubby Aaron at 7am.  Since there were torrential downpours just hours earlier, the cloud cover was still hovering above us and the weather was still rather cool.  Other than the super sexy high heels Sarah flaunted for the first outfit, I’d venture to say it was bearably comfortable outside for the time we romped around the neighborhood.

I applaud Aaron and Sarah for being so easy to work with, and pretty much amazing the whole session.  I also have to thank Ladybug and Cisco (sp?) for allowing me to enter their backyard for a few minutes as we captured a picture perfect family image.

And since I like to share the love when it comes to fellow business owners, check out Aaron and Sarah’s website for all your health needs, and maximize your life!
